KARTHA means 'TO CLEAN' IN CORNISH

Girl Friday was started in 2013 as a one-woman domestic cleaning service with a single mop & bucket, a Hetty hoover and a highly unsuitable borrowed convertible to get around in! We have now evolved into a professional team of commercial cleaners specialising in very thorough cleaning- we don’t do quick, we don’t do cheap, we don’t do anything less than sparkling! If a job’s worth doing it is worth doing properly.

Based in Truro, Cornwall, we work with clients throughout our beautiful county. We offer new build/sparkle cleans after renovations or for contractors, regular commercial workplace cleaning in and around Truro, deep cleaning for private properties to prepare for sale, and clearance and clean- a fully managed service dealing with empty properties.

We are constantly looking into how we can improve our service - we are currently training in cross-contamination cleaning and disinfectant fogging - and we strive to be the absolute best in the west!

The original Girl Friday is Tanya Blackman, trained in 5* hotels and resorts across the world, she also spent time aboard a superyacht being taught the joys of extreme cleaning with toothpicks and cotton buds. Now she passes on her knowledge, and enthusiasm for a job very well done, to her crack team of friendly and conscientious cleaners.
